A close intercept of an interview with Kia Joorabchian stated that the former Anfield midfielder Philippe Countinho issued a close statement as 'come-and-get me'-plea as he could give to his old club.
He narrated "I think Liverpool lies very deep In his Heart & was a very big fan of the team even though he played for Barcelona"

One interesting thing about Coutinho's move to Barcelona was that he thought joining the great Giants of European football could have possibly earned he a UEFA champions league Gold medal but that wasn't the case, it was the other way round, as he watched his former club win the League.

That incredible magic that happened in Madrid last season with Liverpool lifting their sixth Champions League Cup was all that Coutinho wished for, and needed to remind himself that "the grass is not always greener"

And also to add to their success story becoming the 2nd in the English Premier league. Countinho might have wondered had he known better, he would have stayed with his former club but instead he took a gamble on his career to join the Catalonians.

The pleasure & feelings of playing together with 5th time Ballon D'or holder Lionel Messi and the likes of Suarez was what lured him to leave.

If Phillipe knew better he would have listen to his former manager, Jurgen Clopp when he begged him to stay.

Before joining Barcelona in the world's second most expensive transfer back in January 2018, the German warned the £147million man: "Stay here and they will end up building a statue in your honour...

“Go somewhere else, to Barcelona, to Bayern Munich, to Real Madrid , and you will be just an ordinary player, here you can be something more"

Last season, Coutinho only managed only five goals in 35 La Liga matches; in his last season as a Liverpool player he managed 13 goals in 31 outings.
For Coutinho, his Barcelona "dream" is in danger of becoming a nightmare.
